final team meeting before departure

January 3, 2014 team members Brian, Stan, Thom & Liz, Donna, and Irene met for a final time before our departure to discuss packing, our destination, and  the addition of two new team members!

Marjorie and  Sarah, both in their 20's and sisters,  will join our team.  They have a real passion and the same time frame of availability to go to the Philippines.  Sarah will come from Florida, while Marjorie comes from Port  Angeles, WA.     They may connect with us in Seattle if the plane has room for them on our flight, or we will meet up 'over there'.   We are thrilled at the strengths they will bring to our team.

And was a destination mentioned?   Yes!   We will be in or in the area of Bogo City on the NE end of Cebu Island.    As of November 2013, Bogo City has a population of 82,327 and 18,295 households.   It is 101 kilometers away from the provincial capital, Cebu City and it is accessible by land and sea transportation. Bogo City has an area of 103.52 square kilometers.
