 a pretty 'plain' jeepney
It was cloudy and sprinkling in Cebu City.  The warmth and humidity is an adjustment. Yet many of the Philippine people we met felt "cold".    We rode a jeepney to the bus depot.    We chose an air conditioned bus to ride the roughly three hours north to Bogo City.

on the bus; we paid 135 pesos person for the ride

The further north we went the more we saw the devastation from the typhoon.

I must mention that for all of us , we are flooded with sights, sounds, smells--so many new experiences.   If we had time and wi-fi access we undoubtedly could each post something every few minutes!!

In Bogo City it was windy and rainy.  We rode tricycles to the Bogo Lodge that we stayed at while in Bogo City.

We had electricity all week (except during the night one night), cold showers, and rare Wi fi.  I was rather frustrated to be unable to access this blog or even  my email.  I am thinking I would also like my own iPad  or Kindle fire or something!
