July 28, 2013 was the first training session for Team Philippines 2014!  

Our team was made up of:  Pastor Brian--team leader,  Nick, Irene,  Donna , Thom and Liz .
   

Our trip goal was:  to utilize Church Partnership Evangelism to mobilize the church in (a yet to be determined city/island in the Visayan or middle islands of the Philippines) to equip and engage their congregation in evangelism, discipleship and church planting.    CPE engages the national churches, a sending North American church, the short-term team and the host field missionary.

But it all began with a brief printed  introduction to the short-term trip on January 27, 2013 at the GC Annual Celebration!   Then God began to stir in hearts and plant the desire to apply to go!

This blog is primarily written by Irene B.   I added the others as 'authors', but methinks they haven't/won't/can't post!!!  The plan was to post while over there and experiencing it all, but that didn't really happen (lack of time, internet availability, etc.), so I'm posting as a way to process the trip, using notes I took, and reading from some books.
